THE MUIR STREET APARTMENTS

1125 E. MUIR 

HAZEL PARK   is located in Oakland County with ideal access to I-75 or I-696.  The median age of its residences is 32.11 years and the median household income is $47,195.    Its population is 20,214 making is small enough to offer excellent city services yet it is part of a large metro area providing many excellent advantages.  It has it’s own school district Hazel Park Public Schools and has recently torn down and built a new neighborhood elementary called United Oaks.

 1125 E MUIR offers affordable housing.  The four 1-bedroom apartments each have their own private entrance and generally are home to one adult resident.  Each unit has a reserved on off street parking place to the back of the home. A motion sensor light services the parking lot. There is also additional parking on the street itself.

 The rent includes the Heat, Water, Stove, Refrigerator, Parking, Trash Pickup and a shared basement for limited additional storage. The large covered front porch is often seen as a social setting on a warm summer evening. 

The building has been owned by the same landlord since the late 70’s and has been inspected and certified by the city continually since that time. One of the current residents has been their since 1983. Each resident undergoes a credit and background check to help assure quality residents,

The current available unit is renting for $475 with a security deposit of $475 – No pet are allowed

 Depending on the time of year, the current market conditions and your qualifications you may qualify for one of the specials.

 If you are interested in renting you will need to fill out an application giving written permission to pull a credit and background check.  There is a non-refundable $20 fee to process each adult applicant. 

We will also accept a reserve holding deposit if you want to reserve the apartment,  This deposit is refundable should you not qualify and are rejected.  It is non-refundable should you be approved.
